2017 ICC Champions Trophy ... India Vs Pakistan ... Analysis By Anjum Chopra


The Mother of all Cricket Matches took place today. The Fourth Match of the ICC Champions Trophy saw India defeat arch rival Pakistan by a comprehensive margin of 124 runs (D/L). India batting first started cautiously and did not allow rain delays to upset them A century partnership by the opening pair of Rohit Sharma & Shikar Dhawan was consolidated brilliantly by Yuvraj Singh & Virat Kohli. Hardik Pandya justified his promotion up the batting order by smashing 3 successive sixes while India posted a score of 319 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 48 overs. Owing to rain delays Pakistan was to score 289 in 41 overs, but it proved to be a daunting task and they folded for 164. The fielding on both sides was below par with dropped catches and mis-fields.
