Sachin 200 ... Truly The Greatest
Sachin Tendulkar continues to surprise all of us. If we thought his recent trot of 4 Test centuries would satisfy him, he produces yet another masterpiece and breaks Saeed Anwar’s ( and Coventry) record 0f 194 and has the unique distinction of scoring the first double century in One Day Internationals.
The first ODI century was scored by Dennis Amiss of England on Aug 24 1972 against Australia, at Old Trafford. It took 37 and half years further for the first ODI double century to be registered on Feb 24 2010 by Sachin for India against South Africa at Gwalior.
