During the Opening Overs, New Zealand were well placed and were ahead of the Resource Clock Index. However they lost a little bit of momentum during the Middle Overs and by losing wickets, but were still slightly ahead of the Resource Clock Index.

However during the End Overs Australia put a lot of pressure on New Zealand by capturing wickets and New Zealand fell slightly behind the Resource Clock at the end of 42nd over when the score was 213 for 6 wickets. In the end New Zealand managed to win a close match by 2 wickets and 4 balls to spare.

They were ahead of the "Clock" for 39 overs and were behind in only 11 overs. Thus the Advance/Decline Ratio was in favor of New Zealand most of the time.
