During the Opening Overs, India did lose wickets quickly and kept falling behind the Resource Clock Index. But regrouped during the Middle Overs where they maintained their wickets and caught up with the Resource Clock.

During the critical end overs, W.Indies took 2 wickets and made a very good attempt to pressure and almost did. At the end of 47 overs India was 201 for the loss of 9 wickets and the game was in the balance, but Indian last pair held their nerve and India won by 1 wicket and 7 balls to spare.
