During the Opening Overs, India were well placed and were ahead of the Resource Clock Index. They continued to keep wickets at hand and maintain a steady run rate during the Middle Overs and were thus ahead of the Resource Clock Index.

However during the End Overs Pakistan hit back by capturing wickets and India fell behind the Resource Clock at the end of 45th over when the score was 219 for 5 wickets. In the end India managed to win a close match by 3 wickets and 1 ball to spare.

India were ahead of the "Clock" for 43 overs and were behind in only 7 overs. Thus the Advance/Decline Ratio was in favor of India most of the time.
