During the Opening Overs, India did not lose wickets quickly and kept ahead of the Resource Clock Index. The same pattern continued during the Middle Overs where they maintained their wickets and kept ahead of the Resource Clock.

During the critical end overs, Engaland took 3 wickets and made a very good attempt to pressure and almost did. At the end of 45 overs India was 253 for the loss of 5 wickets and the game was in the balance, but India held their nerve aided by some sloppy fielding India won by 5 wickets and 4 balls to spare. Close but no cigar for England..
